🎉 SHARING BIRTHDAY 🎉
Avui és el meu aniversari, i aquesta és una entrada especial
Today’s post is a very
special one... This post is created to show that special days can depend on the
geographic area in which you were born, the kind of life you had been having,
your economic conditions, your life’s ups and downs…
Today is my birthday, I
am turning nineteen and I will be able to celebrate this day with my family and
friends. In contrast, in a few countries to the east, an Afghan refugee, which
I started to talk with a few days ago, it’s turning nineteen too. The main
difference is that he will be unlike me not be able to celebrate the day with
anyone because he has been enclosed in Moria for more than a year and he has no
one near.
This will be my
nineteenth birthday celebration near my parents, while other people that is getting
older today is the second time that are without them. I really must believe
that I am VERY LUCKY!! I am lucky to celebrate every day of my life near the
people that I love, I am lucky to be able to study what I like and also to have
simply a bed and a house or a warm dish on the table.
Because nineteen with
them are opposed to two without them, but these two do not weight as much as my
nineteen… because today it is a happy day, but it is also a sad day. I never
imagined that sharing the birthday with someone would make me think about it this
much and venture myself to write in English so as more people can understand
it. I never expected that sharing the birthday with others and that a special
day like this could become so difficult.
From here I want to make
it him more pleasant. I would like to tell him all is going to be fine, that
the situation will get better from now on, but I am scared to be too much
utopian, I am scared to hurt and broke expectations or maybe crack them.
Because with the
resilience that supposes to be in a refugee camp, with the resilience that
supposes to have left home and your country for incredible situations from my
point of view, but unfortunately very realistic. With the resilience that
supposes wanting to start again far from all and everyone, new horizons that we
did not think of before appear. Every situation has its good part however much
it costs us to find.
People say that
superheroines only exist in novels and films, but I can assure you all that
they also are in the camps, its only a matter of looking a little bit.
Happy birthday Mesbah!!
